This Review is from an IPhone user's perspective:
This is also a three day review.
This smart watch is more of a smart activity tracker than a smart watch, it's not what I expected for what I wanted. I am most likely returning it and trying something else out... but the catch is, I have an issue with leather. I do not like it, I seriously dislike the feel of it. Most smart watches these days are 'premium' and come standard with leather. I do have to say though, the feel is great. The sport has a silicone band. I really like the feel of a silicon band. I can work around having a metal band, but not as well. Something in my past has given me a hatred for the feeling of leather and metal around my wrists.
But, if you are a runner, the Moto 360 Sport is the watch for you if you do not want other apps. It comes with a set amount of standard apps and you cannot download any more unlike watch faces. The GPS is accurate, the heart rate sensor is decent as well from other reviews that I have read. Not entirely comparable to a chest strap, but something that can be relied on for running. This is a two trick pony. It is a running activity tracker watch and it can also display notifications from your phone. It does have a stopwatch, which is nice. Silent alarm is a part of it.
In all honesty, It is a very nice smart running watch, as Motorola said it was. If I had a runner as a friend that was looking for a smart watch that would work for them with the understanding of no downloadable apps, I would strongly suggest the Moto 360 Sport.
One thing I would like to mention is that the Moto Body App is on/for the IoS. Which means that I cannot fully use the Moto 360 Sport to it's full potential. Nor did I have an android phone to test this with so I could not fully use it to it's best potential.
One thing that I do like about it, It is responsive for the most part, nice and quick with the uptake. I do have to say this is a good 'start' at android watches for me. I am glad I got it for the short time I have it in all regards. I like the interface. It is smooth and responsive as I mentioned earlier. Looks like there is hope for me yet... I am most likely gonna go to Android once I find out when my next upgrade is. I will miss my Iphone, but I can get used to a new interface in time. Those are my final two cents on the 360 sport. To Blocks!
P.S. I will most likely be doing 5 day reviews of other Smart Watches/Bands whenever I have the time for shits and giggles and until Best Buy realizes what I am doing... On that note, I am going to be doing the Microsoft Band 2 in the next week or so. Expect something next weekend on that.
P.S.S. Nothing over 300 dollars will be reviewed as a comparable look between what is out now and what Blocks will be when it comes out, price wise. It is a limit because I can't easily do this every week even with full money back, it would look odd over time maybe.
