A module that has a small e-ink screen and clock that can then have basic information it collects from other modules like:
  • GPS coordinates
  • Heart Rate
  • Kinetic
  • Button module
The idea is that you would use the core to originally program it to show what you want, then remove the core and keep only modules you need, including one battery module. this converts the modules into just a basic excersise device.

As it will just be a clock and e-ink display then the core would still be needed to set it up in what it is showing from other modules, and if using a button module it might be set up to switch between each module, but it should be self operating when with a battery module. This helps people who want a less bulky exercise device have what they want without requiring a new watch.

Only the core is able to communicate with all modules, even if it would be very cool to have a screen module it is not possible.
We already talked about a e-link display module, I invite you to check that out.

I do remember when the connectors looked like stereo jacks

Perhaps just a clock module then to be added to a bluetooth connected module wrist band. This would be controlled by the main core through bluetooth.
