Hello,

Is it possible to not be locked to those 5 modules upon first preOrder. Other than the extra battery life, none of the available others appeal to me. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but personally I'd be delighted already if I could get just the core... and then the kinetic and sim module further down the road.

You need to place order for at least 4 modules because the watch is not functional without 4 modules, unless you ordered the $195 tier that includes just the core and strap (no modules)

My understanding is that modules can be "banked" - I pledged for the core + 4 modules but also added additional modules on to my pledge, which I am hoping to save for the SIM and memory modules, at least.

You can bank extra modules that you've ordered or got them through referrals. But as standard package order you must pick 4 modules to be shipped with your core.

I didn't have any problem picking 4 modules with my initial order - I was originally planning to get extra battery modules, which was the initial push to buy some extra ones, but decided against it with the change in design of that module.
