Hello Everyone!

Can't believe were only 3 months away from getting our awesome BLOCK Smartwatch. Counting down the days which I'm sure everyone else is. Well, I'm Lucas and I'm currently going for my major in Computer Science. I have always been interested in new and upcoming technology. When I heard about this project in 2013 I was so excited for it! Now here in 2016 it's crazy that its becoming a reality! I also love gaming so if anyone wants to add me on PSN just let me know!

I'm no tech genie or I.T. wizard but I like to think I know a good thing when I see it. I'm a sculptural artist and part time librarian, or PuNk PoTtEr and Wordwitch, as you wish. I reside in Hull (UK capital of culture 2017) LCD's were invented here.

I love good design, in my practice and in my purchases. Form and function in equilibrium should be my motto. That is why I backed the Blocks watch; the modularity gives a multiverse of possibilities, from the customisation of skins and materials to the technomothingamybox of hot chocolates that is the hardware modules. Ultimately I'd like the Blocks to have a teleportation/time travel module but I'll settle for a sim, gps, altimeter (for determining how high my ride home in Hull is) and extra micro sd storage for now. And a spirit level would come in handy to judge the correct degree of arm bend whence consuming one's pint of ale.

I'll probably vend posts on design and quality issues but am apt to muse on dream apps and marvel in module madness. Roll on 4th Feb...

Welcome Bryanxst! As a follower of the "form and function in equilibrium" principle too (I love the way you said it), I'm sure we'll both take advantage of the high level of customization of BLOCKS! I'll be starting a thread in the hardware development section about shell design, when people interted might share their ideas and knowledge about patterns, shapes, materials, manufacturing processes, etc. The SDK isn't out yet, so there's little to talk about at the moment, but when the forum gets fully operative, be sure to drop by and share some of your own thoughts!
Hi Allesandro, I look forward to sharing thoughts. Now where did they put that update? I'm sure I put it down here somewhere.... ...and saliva drenched tongue where taste-buds hum like timpani drums...Update. UPdate, come on update.

I just hope it will come out before bedtime, cause I'm sure I won't be able to sleep otherwise!

I'm Levy Rivers - I've been a tech promoter since 1979 when I started selling PCs for Xerox. That was before Steve ripped off the desktop and mouse from our research lab - I have continued my interest in the uses of tech gear since then. My main interest these days are in personal quantification and tactics to improve my comings, goings and interactions within my relationships.

I learned about BLOCKS from some article and think it is the only way to move in this short life cycle product world. I have been impressed with the level of professional behavior I've witnessed in terms of the product and the discussions related to product development. I look forward to adding a comment here and there were I think helpful.

Did you just say you don't like Apple? (Hate) Bruh !! Welcome to the club lol !
You bet - won't let that crip in my house nor even mentioned by my 7 children - the only thing I hate more than A is ketchup.

Bruh You the MAN !

Note, I have an Iphone, but will most likely be changing phones with getting Blocks so I have a more 'compatible' phone. I rather not have IoS fighting with Android so I might move to an Android.

On the other hand, I all ready posted here, but do want to make an addendum. I am currently in ITT Tech for Electronic Engineering and I plan to get involved with Marine Robotics, aka, RoVs and AuVs. So the GPS and the Adventure modules are a key thing for that. I am just hoping with this update, it would gain the rating of IPA68 so I do not have to worry too much about the salt water with my smart watch. Of course I will be rinsing it off after all exposures, but having that extra rating is nice. On that note, I am happy that Blocks is a reality as of now.

An explorer of Tech and Life. To experience Life is my goal, in any form. There is Something out there... and I want to see.

Bruh ! Android is where the part is at ! Switch and I promise you'll never regret the decision.

Hi my name is Scott and I'm a techaholic, it's been less than five minutes since I last indulged... I posted here and there during the kickstarter but you may remember me as the guy who was rooting for the TouchOne keyboard after Blocks was done ( which totally got funded by the way and is more than likely coming to a Blocks watch near you, aww yeah) But yeah I'm a tech enthusiast and I catch on really quick to techy stuff, I know some basics in coding and stuff but if I put my mind to it I could probably go further. I love new tech especially new and different stuff which is why I was attracted to Blocks, I'm an avid Android user and wouldn't buy an iPhone if my life depended on it, look forward to chatting with everyone!

When you ran into a problem, don't give up.
Most of the time a nice workaround will help you further.
