4 GB is more than any enough for any current generation smartwatch. Not to mention they will be releasing the flash memory module in the future so when it comes to the point where 16 or 32 Gigs is the standard you would just need to buy that flash memory module instead of a new smartwatch

More internal memory in Blocks

I think 8GB or a memory module would be ideal, this because Blocks is a watch that 'grows' with you and you don't trade it in every year.

8 gb would be nice. So you can also store some songs on the watch and listen to it via bluetooth ears.

I agree with Neil Shah - if additional storage is avasilable on a module (either embedded or micro-SD) then the RAM need only deal with apps. 4 Gb is surely enough - my phone only has 576 Mb RAM and a 512 Mb ROM. And yes, I'm out of space, but that's because I like large apps that certainly wouldn't be suitable for a watch.

I suppose all this polls should be called something like "what specs would you want Core 2.0 to have?"

As I would like to use my smartwatch for sports where I do not have my smartphone with me but still want to listen music and / or audio books a bit more memory would not hurt at all ....

A memory one is among the possible future modules for BLOCKS. I think they wanted to find a compromise between memory and size of the Core. Most smartwatch users, even when doing sports, still carry their smartphone with them. Were I to have both BLOCKS and my smartphone with me, I'll probably listen to music directly from the latter, to relieve the battery of the former from excessive stress. I'm sure many, like you, are already considering using BLOCKS as a full standalone device, but from a commercial point of view most users would always use it together with a smartphone, so choosing to prioritize a slim form factor over sheer memory does make sense to me. All of this said, I would be ok with 8GB too (clearly ), but only if such an upgrade would cause no other losses in functionality or thickness increases.

4 GB should be fine, but 8 is better in order to future proof the watch. It's been my experience that the more memory, the better.

It seems to me that it may be worthwhile, in future iterations, to offer different versions of the core with variable memory - a small memory one (1-2 GB) for those who are planning to use their BLOCKS purely as a smart watch, and another version with more memory (?16-32 GB) for those who would like to use their BLOCKS to replace their phone, especially once the SIM module is available.
