What sensor type is being used in the HRM module - EKG or PPG? If PPG, which is more likely as a wrist sensor, will it also measure oxygen saturation?

Sorry for the delay, I was quite busy at my university. Anyway, you will find the answer to your question in the thread stickied in this section, just follow >this< link! If you read the specs on Pixart's website, you will see that it is indeed a PPG based sensor, but it cannot measure oxygen saturation. Please post your further questions (should you have any) about the HRM or one of the other 7 first modules (HRM, extra battery, NFC, GPS, adventure, programmable button and flashlight) there!
