Hello ! I think, it cool be cool to work with Flic.io to integrate the same kind of module and use IFTTT. I wish to be able to manage my home (lights, TV, etc.) with only the smartwatch and some appropriate modules

That would be reaaaallly cool but there is a button module or?
so it depends more on the configuration app for it....

Would love for you guys to integrate with a company like Fitbit for the development your Fitness App. They have years of experience of working in the fitness tracking industry. Although I doubt they would want to work with you guys since they have a direct competition from you guys.

Another company I would like to see you guys work with on software end is with the Kickstarter project "Dreamscreen". They're another KS project I've backed which is offering a LED lighting kit for your TV which can be controlled using their smartwatch and smartphone apps. Would love if you guys can help them with releasing an App for the Blocks platform.

I am sure I can think of more..but this is good a list for now

You are like the 3rd person to mention a "FitBit" module. I guess people really want all of Fitbit's features in one module which would be great. Something we can explore further down the line hopefully .

The Dreamscreen project looks cool, maybe we will have a post to discuss how BLOCKS can integrate it into its platform.

Fitbit would be nice. i have a fitbit atm but the band is broken atm so i cant really use it.

A partnership with Fitbit, Nike (as previously mentioned) or really any well-known tech company would help bring new customers to BLOCKS and drastically increase the popularity of the device. Personally, I'd like to see a company like Sandisk partner with blocks and bring along a micro sd card module to the table.

Delorme and Garmin for outdoor maps/navigation, altimeter, gps, and rescue/SOS (Especially with DeLorme's InReach) features would be VERY cool for the outdoor community. Hikers, climbers, and all sorts.

GoPro / Sony Adventure Cam, be nice to be able to take snapshots, turn off/on recording, change settings, find out battery/memory level.


HOLY CRAP! I just thought of something super cool for a module.

An Avalanche Transceiver module! Nothing fancy, just something basic of skiing that can be used as a backup to a full size Avy beacon.

Another company I was thinking about was the makers of the Cicret Bracelet. A partnership with them would make for a truly unique smartwatch experience. To go from seeing basic notification content on the watch screen to projecting a larger screen onto your arm and being able to interact with the projected screen. Unfortunately the current tech for Cicret looks bulky, but perhaps over time as the tech develops and improves an iteration of the core blocks module with cicret projection tech built in would be possible.
