Location of Processing and Storage of Personal Information

Personal data and information is stored and processed in the United Kingdom (UK) branch of Blocks for the sole purpose and use by Blocks.

Sharing and Using your Personal Information

Blocks may share your personal information (including your location information) with its third party service providers or affiliates, as authorized by Blocks to collect, process and use your personal information as data processors on Blocks’ behalf, such as, for instance, technical service providers, cloud based and hosting services, mail carriers, communication agencies and customer support service providers; these parties may be located in countries outside of your respective jurisdiction. An updated list of the parties engaged by Blocks for the processing of your personal information may be requested from Blocks at any time. Other than as indicated above, Blocks will not share your personal information with any third parties, unless compelled by law to do so or if you have given your prior consent. The use of the information about Blocks’ users’ services and products and website activities (this includes location information) is in anonymous, statistical or aggregated form, therefore the information cannot be used to identify a specific user. The use of the information is to ensure proper operation of the services and products, to improve the quality of the services and products, to enhance your experience, to create new products, services and features, including customized services, in order to change or cancel existing content, service or products, and as well as for further internal, commercial and statistical purposes. As well Blocks also uses anonymous, statistical or aggregated information that it collects, while ensuring that the information cannot be used to specify a particular user, by posting, disseminating, transmitting or otherwise communicating or making available such information to its users, to its business partners and its service providers.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that Blocks ask to place on your computer’s hard drive and onto your mobile device’s memory. If your browser is set to accept cookies, then your browser adds the text in a small file. Integrated Third Party Web Services and Functionalities

Blocks integrates the services of third parties which may also place cookies on your computer's hard drive and/or your mobile device’s memory. Blocks does not have access to or control over cookies or other features that advertisers and third party sites may use, and the information practices of these advertisers and third party websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy. You are welcomed to change your settings to refuse these third party cookies or to warn you before cookies are placed. However, if you choose not to accept cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of some of Blocks’ features and services. Google Analytics This is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google analytics uses cookies to assist Blocks in analyzing how users use and interact with its Website by preparing reports on website activity and providing other services in relation to usage. Please be aware that as a rule, any information generated by the cookies about your use of the Blocks Website and services will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Furthermore, please be aware that Google may also use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network and/or share the data with other Google services where it deems fit. You may opt-out from the collection of information stored and generated by the Google Analytics cookies as well as the use of such data by downloading and installing the relevant browser-plugin.

Social Plugins and Widgets

Blocks also integrates social plugins, widgets and other features from third party social networks, including the following: Facebook’s ‘Like-Button’, social widgets and other features allowing interaction with Facebook social networks as provided by Facebook Inc.; you may access Facebook’s privacy practices at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy. Google+ Share-Button, social widgets and other features allowing interaction with the Google+ social network as provided by Google Inc.; additional information about Google’s privacy practices can be found at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. Twitter ‘Tweet-Button’, social widgets and other features allowing interaction with the Twitter social network as provided by Twitter Inc.; additional informaiont about Twitter’s privacy practices can found at https://www.twitter.com/privacy. Therefore with these widgets, plugins and other social features, the respective third parties place cookies on your browser and collect certain information, which may be associated with your name and personal social network account information. Please note that these social widgets, plugins and other features are operated solely by these respective third parties, for which Blocks has no control over or access to the information collected, stored or used by such third party social networks. The information practices by such third parties are not covered by this Privacy Policy, therefore if you do not wish to associate any information collected via the plugins, widgets and/or other features with your personal social network account information, Blocks recommends that you refrain from using these social functionalities and log-out from your social network account before visiting the Blocks Website.

Control of your Personal Information

Blocks understands that you, at any time, have the right to know whether your personal information has been stored and that you can consult Blocks to learn about their contents and origin, as well as to verify the accuracy or to ask for them to be supplemented, cancelled, updated or corrected, or for their transformation into anonymous format or to block any of your personal information, as well as to oppose their processing to any and all legitimate reasons. Upon a request to delete information of your account and your personal information, Blocks shall delete such information, however please be advised that Blocks may not delete information from its back-up systems. Security of Information

Blocks strives to ensure industry-standard security by implementing commercially reasonable applications, systems, and procedures with the intention of securing your personal information, to minimize, the risks of damage, theft, loss of information, or unauthorized access, disclosure, modifications or use of information. Blocks would like you to understand that such measures are not able to provide absolute assurance. Although Blocks goes to great lengths to protect your personal data, it cannot guarantee and you therefore cannot reasonably expect that its databases will be immune from any malfunctions, wrongdoings, breach, unlawful access or interceptions, or other kinds of abuse and misuse.

Changes and Amendments

Given that Blocks reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time, Blocks will provide you with notice on this page and by sending an email notice to you if you are a registered user. Should you object to any of the changes of this Privacy Policy, Blocks asks that you immediately cease using the Blocks Website and services. You may request Blocks to erase your personal information. Should there be any changes to this Privacy Policy, the changes will be posted on the Website and sent to the registered email address that you have provided (if applicable). Any changes will be effective 20 days after their initial posting or after the email has been sent (or whichever date is later). However, if Blocks amends this Privacy Policy to comply with legal requirements, then the amendments will become effective immediately upon their initial posting, or as required. The then-current privacy policy applies to all personal information Blocks has about you, unless stated otherwise. You agree to be bound by any of the amendments or changes made in the terms of this Privacy Policy. This acceptance will be provided by your continued use of the Blocks Website and services.
