Is the NFC module only being looked at as an NFC 'tag' (eg broadcasting), or are there plans for an included NFC Reader as well? If not, is there a possibility of a NFC Reader module in the future? Locally I don't have an option for mobile payments. Just hasn't taken off in Canada, however I have my own NFC tags, plus the NFC Key for the YubiCo Key (https://www.yubico.com/products/yubikey-...bikey-neo/) and using that with my watch would be handy over using my phone.

For now the NFC is a passive module which means that you will be able to program it to act as a card or other NFC tag. It cannot broadcast but only be read.

I do remember when the connectors looked like stereo jacks

Also, i believe that there won't be any NFC partners for the UK on launch. Will this change now as Google have announced Android Pay is coming to the UK this summer?
