Im thinking that if you have an expansion module that will allow you to wear other modules on your wrist as a bracelet that are'nt physically connected to your watch then that will force you to buy more modules than you would want/need (because of the need to have enough modules to go around your wrist). Im suggesting a blank empty module that would just allow the connections from the previous module to the core in order to keep the ascetic of the watch but not force you to buy more modules than you would want (not that i wouldnt want them all). The other part of the idea of this is that you could also have a very power hungry module that drains the battery of the watch that you don't use very much in which it could be taken out and the blank module would just complete the links. Beacuse it would be blank shell with just a couple of connections from module to module it could be sold at a discount.
A Blank Module

I discussed about this during the last Q&A with Marcus Kane who is one of the designers at blocks. I was talking about 3D printing blank module, he said that a blank module could be a thing but 3D printing it would be difficult as some parts are very small. I don't think that a blank module is on track for the team but if peoples want it I think it could be a thing.

What about just an empty hollow shell? It doesn't have to be 3d printed and all it would need would be the connections across it to the core.

If you would place the blank next to the clasp it wouldn't even need any connections or chips inside it, right?

It would need connectors because the watch has to be a closed electrical circuit.
