Is the screen size official 1.35" inches? When converting to millimeters it is 34.30 mm which is very small. I had the moto 360 2nd Gen (46 mm) recently, and only a couple more millimeters big it would have been perfect size for me. There are pictures out there of the prototype that look like it had a big screen, but it is a prototype which is not official.

To be precise, according to the latest tech specs from their website, the screen would be 1.34", so pretty much 34 mm. And as far as we know, all tech specs are final, so this will be the size of BLOCKS display. Compared to the display of the 360 gen.2, it is more or less the same as the 1.37" display of the 42 mm version (just a smidge less, probably to compensate for the larger bezel of BLOCKS). The team is launching their first Core, so making it the size of the Moto 360 46 mm would have cut out a large number of potential buyers, and not just women. I, for instance, could never wear the 46 mm Moto 360 on my wrist, it is just too large to fit. Even large companies like Samsung have preferred to downsize rather than increase recently. The Gear S2, for instance, is surprisingly tiny compared to previous versions of the Gear and to other smartwatches currently available. I would have added that BLOCKS sports an higher pixel density than the 360, but all infos about the resolution of the display got erased from the website, so I don't know if the 360x360 resolution shown on KS is still updated. That is a question for a member of the team. Hey team, is the resolution of the screen still 360x360? I wouldn't mind an increase clearly, but a reduction would be bad for reading notifications on such a small display (it's still a watch ).

i also dont like it too big. Maybe later when you can normal order them they make more version or if there is a lot of demand have 2 versions a small (normal) or a bigger version.

Fully agree with you. It would make more sense from a commercial point of view.

34.3mm is just right if you ask me. Anyone know the overall core diameter? I'm guessing on about 42mm or 1 5/8" but I'd prefer 40mm or a smidgin less.

I made a quick visual analysis (with SolidWorks, crazy me) of one of the latest photos of BLOCKS, and I got 41.9 mm for the outer diameter of the Core. Accounting for the obvious mistakes I made measuring this way, the diameter should be in fact 42 mm, more or less.

It might be a good idea to update these specs to the new update.
