In the short term, it sounds like there is a fair amount of interest in having a watch with speaker capability. That is not all that important to me, but the point to having a modular watch is that folks can put what they want into it. In the future, I could see having a couple different versions of the core - with and without speaker and with different amounts of memory.

The next update for the Huawei Watch is supposed to activate its speaker and make the watch capable of doing phone calls without external headsets or such. We should keep an eye on the feedback from users on that function, to see how effective in real world it can be.
