I was looking at Project Ara and I saw a news article about a company making a modular smartwatch, just 7 hours after the announcement. I've been subscribed to the newsletter ever since.
How did you get to know Blocks?

This was a long time ago, but I loved these connectors.

I do remember when the connectors looked like stereo jacks

I remember seeing the initial concept video on YouTube long before it became big. At the time I believe it was still just something that was just a concept and hadn't even been started to be developed. That was about 2 years ago and I never heard anything about it until about a year later when I learned it was actually be developed and the excitement for it was re-ignited and I've been following almost religiously since.

I saw Blocks on a tech website, probably linked from an Ara or phonebloks article (I'm still waiting for that). It was years ago, like somebody else said the connectors were 3.5mm jacks. I signed up for updates, and thankfully grabbed one of the first 1000 memberships. No regrets at all.

I really don't remember actually, I believe I can't across it when researching project Ara and thought it was super cool and subscribed to the email list and never looked back

I think I first found the watch when I was doing research on the Blocks Phone. I was so enthralled with the concept, I just kept following it all and hoping!!

I think it was a random link on Fbook at the launch of the KS campaign which hooked me.

Quite the journey I must say.
I was looking for an article for the company I work for at DigitalTrends. There, I saw an article about how smartwatches are gaining popularity so I searched for popular smartwatches and ended up on Engadget. Among the list, the last one was Blocks. That was new! I looked it up, ended up on the kickstarter campaign and then on their website. By then, I was already salivating, and I was only halfway through the homepage!
Shared the links with my colleagues, and here I am! I'm ready for it!
However, it would be cool if we weren't restricted to those available modules upon purchase. I would like to go straight to the kinetic charger
I'll be watching you guys. Keep up the good work!
