Hey everyone Will from kickstarter here under the name rexlee2113 I know I posted this a while back on the kickstarter comment page but basically because you're paying that much for a smartwatch (the fact that its a modular smartwatch doesnt really help) but does anyone else think that there should be a tracking module or a tracking chip on the core like I dont mean for blocks to monitor it but like say you leave your smartwatch (for whatever reason) behind (or vice versa so you leave your phone and it can notify the user) your phone/ blocks watch will notify you that you left your phone/ smartwatch behind and hopefully lock it until you move close to it. Of course it wont be useful until you can adjust the distance before notifying the user.

What does everyone think?

You could use the Bluetooth connection for distance. If you loose connection. You forgot your phone. Else you can use the build in device locater

Considering that there's no extra hardware involved for such a function, you should move your question to the software development sub-forum, in the Most wanted features thread!

Its not really a software thing allesandro cuffs it's part hardware as well because you need to have that sort of component to make use of a a software, and is not most wanted as it's only a suggestion.

You don't need extra hardware in order to get this feature, you can use wifi or bluetooth with a GPS, which are features already present in the core of the watch.
It is a software side thing and the "Most wanted" only means "things you would like to have" so I think that this thread should be moved there.
