"A lot of you have expressed concerns about the extra battery module and not being able to wear more than one on your wrist at the same time. When finalising the design of the hardware for this module, we found that we had to include additional safety components to ensure that it met the relevant standards. We then had 2 options; either maintain the same module dimensions by reducing the capacity of the battery, or maintain the same battery capacity (the 100 mAh we were aiming for) and increase the module dimensions. A lower battery capacity would have meant that you would no longer be able to charge your core battery by connecting an extra battery module; instead, it would only be able to power your other connected modules such as the heart rate or GPS modules. Being able to extend the life of the core battery is one of your most desired features, and so we made the decision to increase the size of the extra battery modules to provide a capacity of at least 100 mAh. We are already investigating newer battery technologies with higher power densities to be able to reduce the size of the extra battery module in its next iteration, and as always we will keep you updated on our progress."
I can understand the problem of the battery module but some of us are not interested in one or more modules of phase one.
I was thinking to use the battery module as a dummy module in order to complete the watch.
so if it's impossible to have more battery modules I would appreciate having more modules to choose in phase one.
